CC-Macro
Custom 16-key macropad with a rotary encoder, five-way navigation switch, and OLED display, built around a Raspberry Pi Pico 2. I designed the PCB, the case, the firmware, and the host software.

The Challenge
Taking a device from schematic to fabricated board while keeping firmware, host software, and an enclosure in step, with every part sourced and every footprint checked against real datasheets.
The Solution
Designed the board in KiCad around an RP2350 module and had the v2 PCB fabricated. The case is modelled in FreeCAD with Blender renders. Firmware is C++20 on the Pico SDK and TinyUSB, sharing preset and protocol formats with a HIDAPI host daemon. Presets are edited in a SvelteKit app and integrations are indexed by a small Go server.
Highlights
- Fabricated v2 PCB with a full bill of materials and pin mapping
- Firmware and host daemon share one header-only protocol layer
- Dockerized firmware build with pinned SDK and toolchain
